An unnamed woman whom boarded the Air France flight from Turkey to Paris was caught with two years old baby in her hand luggage.
The woman was said to have tried to avoid paying for plane ticket for her baby. A nearby passenger noticed the woman’s bag moving and after it moved for the second time, the passenger thought there was something wrong and alerted the a member of the cabin crew.
A stewardess who investigated the bag was shocked to discover the source of the movement was a two-year-old baby stuffed inside.
Both mother and baby were taken to the front of the plane.
An Air France spokesman said an investigation into the incident was underway, adding: “The company requested the presence of the French authorities to flight arrival and fully cooperate with the ongoing investigation by the competent authorities.”
